This platter, decorated with a shoal of vivid blue mackerel is enhanced by hand application of sponges, brushstrokes and reactive glazes. The family run factory in Italy uses skilled artisans to hand embellish the graphic details on the bowl. Due to the nature of the handwork each piece is unique. The platter is made by hand using techniques handed down through generations at a small family-owned factory in Italy, using high quality earthenware clay which is known for its strength and durability.
