Small Job Solutions

It seems nearly impossible these days to acquire the services of a tradesperson to call to your house no matter what the requirement, and nigh on impossible to hire someone to do the small, simple but essential jobs like hanging a mirror, picture, erecting a shelf and other similar, everyday jobs. If you are not “handy” yourself, it could well put you off purchasing that wonderful print and moving your room to that next aesthetic level.

We offer a convenient, affordable and accessible service to take care of all those little jobs that you have been putting on the proverbial long finger. Our service is fully insured, and this can be viewed on request.

And because we are based in Distrikt by Mia in Wicklow, it is easy for us to call at a convenient time for you to fit that mirror or light fitting etc should you be within that local catchment. If you are living further away, do get in touch anyway and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Our service includes but is not limited to:

  • Light fittings, changing like for like. (Safe Electric Fact Sheet)
  • Hanging of items such as pictures, prints and mirrors.
  • Fitting of curtain poles or rails. (Please remember that the fitting of curtains is specialised and we do not offer this service).
  • Making good fittings and fixings that may have come loose over time.
  • Assembly of furniture as needed.
  • Removal of packaging etc.

REFERRALS 

We also have a list of tradespeople such as painters or plumbers should you need a referral to some of these services. It should be noted that these are referrals only and it is up to the client to verify the suitability of the referral to their needs. We take no responsibility beyond the referral and all communication etc is between the client and the contractor.

Furthermore, we also retain a short list of bespoke furniture design and production companies that we can refer you to should you need something special made to order.
